1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
2 COVID-19: Evidence session with the Minister and Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services and the Director General for Health and Social Services and the NHS Wales Chief Executive
2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Minister and Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services and the Director General for Health and Social Services and the NHS Wales Chief Executive.
2.2 The Director General for Health and Social Services and the NHS Wales Chief Executive agreed to provide a note to the Committee detailing examples within the eye care pathway of activity and changes taking place across Wales to deal with both the backlog in demand for services and the new patients coming into the system.

3.1 The Committee continued its evidence session with the Minister and Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services and the Director General for Health and Social Services and the NHS Wales Chief Executive.
4 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 (ix) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting
4.1 The Committee agreed the Motion to exclude the public from the remainder of today’s meeting.
5 COVID-19: Consideration of evidence
5.1 The Committee considered the evidence received.
6 Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Medicines and Medical Devices Bill: consideration of approach
6.1 The Committee agreed its approach to the consideration of the Memorandum. This will involve issuing a call for written evidence over the summer recess and writing to the Minister for Health and Social Services seeking further information on a number of points.
